My name is Sarah and I am a graduate software developer living in the North West of the UK. Having completed my Masters in Computer Science with Software Engineering, I am keen to establish myself as a Junior Developer as soon as possible. I am friendly, hardworking and motivated.

My communication, adaptibility and teamwork skills, fine turned during my years in teaching, are transferable skills I hope to use soon in my new role.

I began learning HTML and CSS whilst teaching Computing. This then progressed to me joining Tech Returners https://www.techreturners.com/ where I was introduced to the Command Line, JavaScript, Postman, SQL, and AWS Lambda. A todo app (independent) and the Expenses Manager app (Team of 3) were created.
I then enrolled on the Complete Web Development Bootcamp (Udemy-Angela Yu) and completed various projects, details can be seen below. Certificate of completion obtained.
Whilst working in higher education I then enrolled on a Masters degree in Computer Science with Software Engineering, modules studied can be seen above. Completed 2024.

Having achieved my dream of studying software development I am now keen to change my career and work full time in the technology industry.
I particularly enjoyed working with SQL and Oracle during my degree. However, I do also enjoy front-end work.
